 Stefan's T-Birds and Thunder Parts began over 10 years ago as a result of my love for cars in general, and the early Ford Thunderbirds in particular.The start was almost an accident! I had purchased 3 square birds, two of them parts cars. Once I was done putting the better car together, I was left with a lot of parts, so I put several free ads in the paper. This is how I got connected with the local T-Bird clubs and realized there were many other people that needed these parts. Once the original cars were dwindling down, I started to buy more parts cars, including all models between 1958 and 1966. At the time I was still working as a Software Engineer for a firm in North Hollywood, but my love of T-Birds was to eclipse my high-tech career, even though I was making lots of money in computers! Then came the local Pageant Of The Thunderbird annual shows where I always tried to buy out other people's stock at the end of the day. Also, trading parts with Matt Truax in North Corona, now at The Bird Nest in Portland, Oregon. The line-up of T-Bird services grew when I decided we should offer new parts and rebuilt parts. Next, with the addition of a cutting torch, and of course a Sawzall, I could now cut large body panels to order... Somewhere along the lines came a lot of on-going help from my brother Alex, my father Matt, and my girlfriend Joanne. They are all still very involved in making this a success, and I want to thank them all for their critical and continuos contributions. You are the BEST! Lots of years went by, but we are currently at the point of making some quantum leaps in this and the next year. I hope you will choose to grow with us in the T-Bird arena. We are always at your service, and try to fulfill your needs to the best of our (still limited) abilities.
